Individual Sessions

Life has its many thresholds — times when things are changing, shifting, ending, or beginning, and familiar ways of moving through the world may no longer feel right or make sense.

This work is for anyone who feels that a little more space, creativity, and supportive companionship could be helpful. You might be moving through a significant life transition, wondering where you belong, feeling overwhelmed or disconnected, or simply sensing that something in you is asking for attention.

Expressive arts therapy invites curiosity and exploration. Through embodied practices and creative engagement, it offers space to notice what is present, dwell a little longer in the moment, and listen closely to what is moving within you — what is beating in your heart and what may be beginning to emerge.

You don’t need to arrive with a clear idea of what you need or where you want to go. Sometimes, simply being met where you are, with space to explore what is unfolding, can be a good place to start.

“We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.”

Our Process

01 — Arriving

An initial conversation to arrive together, get oriented, and connect with what brings you here and what would feel supportive.

02 — Grounding & Awakening the Senses

Slowing down, settling, and becoming more attentive to the body, breath, senses, feelings, and what is present.

03 — Crossing the Threshold

Crossing into a more open, liminal space through play, imagination, and creative exploration, with guided practices.

04 — Meeting What Emerges

Allowing the process to unfold, staying curious and meeting whatever arises as it is, without needing to force meaning.

05 — Harvesting & Landing

Reflecting on the process, connecting the dots, integrating and gathering insights, resources, and new perspectives, and gently returning to the quest that came with you.

06 — Carrying the Thread

Considering what you want to take into the coming days and how we might continue the exploration together in a following session.

You don’t need any artistic experience to begin. Curiosity is enough.
